12 Days of Christmas Style – Lighten up!

December 11, 2008 by greenmystyle

Fairy lights are so very pretty and Christmassy, but cripes they use a lot of energy. We’d hate for you to do without. Sindhu Venkatarayanan of ethical fashion boutique DeviDoll says you don’t have to.

Day 9 – A bit of Christmas sparkle

Sindhu writes: Having an eco Christmas doesn’t mean you  have to do without fairy lights. New LED lights consume 70% less energy than normal fairy lights but still come in all colours and sizes. They are easily available on the Internet and even Ikea is doing a range this year.

You could try EcoCentric for the LED fairy lights pictured, currently £19.49.  See these fairy lights.

Come back tomorrow to find out which handbag is on Sindhu’s Christmas present wishlist.
