Beaded ’80s Art Deco-style clutch handbag replaces boyfriend

Dear boyfriend, please move out, I need more room. I know it’s Christmas, but I’ve found this fantastic ’80s vintage clutch handbag on eBay., and I’ve decided to use your shelves as a handbag store. What do you mean that’s harsh? It’s Art Deco-style and everything. A.R.T.D.E.C.O.

And if I stare at it for long enough it looks a bit like a sparkly owl. Plus, you don’t wash your breakfast pots. Ever.

A note from the seller: “This is a fabulous little evening bag, and is very 1930’s Deco in it’s styling! It has an ivory satin fabric base, and is absolutely encrusted with silver & gold glass beads on both sides. The beaded design is typically Deco, and is the same on both sides.

“The bag has an ivory shoulder cord, and has a top zip closure, which opens to reveal a clean ivory padded lining with an open mirror pocket. If you wanted the bag as a clutch, you could remove the shoulder cord, but it is not detachable. This is a lovely bag, full of vintage style and, has years of wear left in it!

“The bag measures approx 8 1/4″ in width, is 6 1/8″ high and about 3/4″ deep when empty. The shoulder cord measures 41 1/2″ in length. It’s just the thing for this season with so many Vintage accessories out there right now!!”
