Uncommonly Beautiful Recycled Accessories. With a name like that you won’t need much more description of what they do. But I just can’t help myself. This is one up and coming jewellery boutique to watch out for and adorn yourself lovingly with.
One thing you notice while admiring the extensive range of accessories at the Uncommonly Beautiful Recycled Accessories boutique is how god-damn good everything looks. This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise for those who are used to the cutting edge statement necklaces and boxy bangles to update your outfit with that the boutique has in abundance. But, thankfully, you really don’t notice that everything is made completely from recycled materials.
There isn’t a glimmer of what the items used to be, only shimmers of exciting and sexy shapes that will complete your look and have you stand out in a crowd for all the right reasons.
From found furniture, scrap leather and discarded jewellery to suitcases and clock parts, founder and designer Kirsty Kirkpatrick knows how to fix up old junk and magic it into hot accessories.
The bold blue ribbon tie necklace (£30) on the right screams ‘Look at me, I’m amazing!’ without a whisper of its dirty past as a wooden wine box.
Click through to see more of Kirsty’s alluring accessories that she has transformed from curious old tat that was up to no good into striking design collectibles.
