Howies

Now we’re talking! Howies is ethical through and through. Especially good right now are the slogan t-shirts and brightly-coloured cords. I tried on a fantastic pair of tomato red fine-cord skinny fit jeans. Unfortunately, they weren’t quite right for my curvier shape (I’m a size 8/10, but with a sizeable bottom). I couldn’t resist this cute organic cotton tee (£20), though, which did make its way home with me. The swing tag tells me that it has passed Howies’ ‘rocking chair test’, where products must meet the ‘Will we sit in our rocking chairs when we’re old and feel good about this t-shirt? standard.
