Daily eBay – 1950s little black wiggle dress

Thank Kate Winslet in Revolutionary Road for my current passion for the wiggle dress. Granted, the costume designer on the movie is probably thanking Roland Mouret for the Galaxy dress, but it’s Kate that caused my love rush.

Today’s Daily eBay is an original 1950s little black wiggle dress, the wiggle born from necessity in that most pencilish of pencil skirts. It’s all about hips and bottoms in a wiggle dress, oh yes.

It’s a size M/L, suggested to be a 14. These dresses have to fit well to really look great, and curvy girls look especially stunning in them. They’re quite simple to alter too, so if the measurements stump you a little, you could always run it along to a local dressmaker.

It’s a good price; a Buy It Now £16, and located in France, so not too terrible on the air-miles.
