Daily eBay – American Apparel slouchy tea dress as worn by Kate Moss

Great minds think alike. Guest editor Bethan Cooper picks a slinky slice of American Apparel that just so happens to be the casual choice of Kate Moss too.

I recently discovered that one of my local charity shops stocks American Apparel rejects, some have minor marks or hole, but all are straight from the shops themselves. As you can imagine I was down there in a flash picking up bargains for a third of their original price and patching, cutting and sticking to customise my version (because by then everyone was wearing the bargain knock offs).

This is one of my favourite American Apparel styles – the slouchy tee dress. And it is so recessionista right now; simple dressing is what it’s all about. Even the likes of style-setter Kate Moss has been seen sporting this dress. It’s a size S-M (8-10) and in excellent condition. Love it!
