Daily eBay – Bella Freud boyfriend blazer

Don’t you find that it’s mostly when friends look great in something, rather than celebrities, that you start desiring particular items? I do. Take the boyfriend blazer, today’s Daily eBay, as an example. Alexa Chung and Agyness Deyn have been wearing the boyfriend blazer for months, years even, and Stella McCartney has been designing them for eons, but it wasn’t until my mate Andrea wore one last week that I thought, yep, I want one!

eBay currently has 35 or so secondhand ‘boyfriend blazers’, and for my money this one is the best. It’s by Bella Freud for Stirling Cooper, another designer from the late Eighties / Early Nineties who I predict is coming back in fashion.

There’s only nine hours left on this boyfriend blazer, so make a run for it. It’s a really good price, with current bid at £14.50.

The light grey colour makes it a great transitional Spring jacket, and the double-breasted fastening and broad-lapelled shape give it a retro feel. I’d be bidding for it myself, but I’m a size 8 and this jacket is a size 12. The trend is to wear it oversized, of course, but, well….oh go on then!
