Daily eBay – Edun eco black knit tunic
January 26, 2009 by greenmystyle
Bidding ends at 9pm tonight on today’s Daily eBay, this funnel-necked black knitted tunic from Edun, Ali Hewson’s ethical fashion range.
It’s a wardrobe no-brainer. Dress down with much loved jeans and flats, dress up with glossy leggings, heels and a huge necklace.
It’s our very favourite kind of Daily eBay too – a stylish item otherwise destined for landfill (this one’s described as a factory second, but it merely has a small hole on one shoulder that can easily be stiched up) that was entirely ethically made in the first place.
Edun specializes in organic and eco clothing with a mission to drive sustainable employment in developing countries. The company was founded in 2005 by Ali Hewson and Bono.
The tunic is a size 10, and the seller says it’s machine-washable. We’d probably handwash it for a longer life.
Current bid price is £31. New it would retail around the £130 mark.
