Daily eBay – Eighties floral summer dress
March 16, 2009 by Sarah Woodhead
Wahay, the sun is shining people! Where I come from this is virtually bikini weather, or at least a floral frock day. Today’s Daily eBay, an Eighties floral strapless dress in this summer’s hot pink and black, would be perfect.
We’re feeling all cheery and smiley at Greenmystyle.com today. This particular happy mood started yesterday when we joined QueensOfVintage.com editors Lena Weber and Tara Gardner for a day of vintage shopping.
It was blue skies all the way, and a real delight to walk in the sunshine around beautiful London town. First stop was the very exclusive Vintage Academe salon sale at 22 Jermyn Street, where iconic designer pieces worth thousands of pounds were on display. Next stop was the monthly Rock ‘n’ Roll Jumble Sale near Euston, where I picked up a floral summer dress for £2. It definitely got me in the summery mood, at last.
From the window at Greenmystyle.com towers the weather today looks every bit as glorious, and a pretty summer dress is definitely in order. This Eighties dress has a tulip-shaped skirt (see the pictures on eBay) and would look gorgeous with a little cardigan, and for days when there’s still a Spring nip in the air, tights wouldn’t be a disaster. Pink tights even.
This dress is a size 10-12 and has a Buy It Now price of £29.95.
