Daily eBay – Guest pick from Bochica founder Emily Best

Emily Best, founder of ethical fashion boutique Bochica, is bored of winter! And so are we. It’s minus a squillion degrees outside, my multi-layering is making me look two sizes bigger than I am, and what’s that, another grey, brown or black outfit? BORING! Come on Spring Summer, puhlease. Emily’s guest pick for today’s Daily eBay is a start, at least.

Emily’s picked this gorgeous and totally summery vintage 1970s coral chiffon-ish dress. I say chiffon-ish when actually the fabric is ‘unknown’ and the faults ‘none major’; eBay sellers, they make me laugh. There’s a book idea in those descriptions.

Over to Emily: “This maxi dress may be a bit summery but I’m fed-up with winter. I’ve
started to get in the Summer mood now that Bochica’s SS09 stock has started
to come in, so I thought I’d pick something to get us excited about the season ahead.

“This is a great colour for the coming season especially. Coral was evident on the SS09 catwalks at Christopher Kane and Lanvin, picking up where SS08’s nude trend left off.

“I’d wear with an oversized grey belt to bring it up-to-date. I love the delicate look of the dress with
the pleat detail. Roll on Summer!”
