Daily eBay – LFW designer Marios Schwab dress

The fashion explosion that is London Fashion Week starts this week, and in homage we’ve picked a Daily eBay from LFW catwalk designer Marios Schwab who will be exhibiting his new collection later this week.

Bless the women who can’t fit into their designer frocks. Again it’s a masterpiece of a seller’s description. Apparently she has a 32F bust (too much detail?) and looks too squidged into it. Wonder if it’s Katie Price?

Anyway, as the seller rightly says, it is instantly recognisable as ‘that Marios Schwab dress’ from his SS07 collection. It cost £1200 new and is in pristine condition.

Over to the seller: “The dress is a Schwab size “Medium”, which roughly translates as a size 10 (although I feel it could fit smaller to be honest as it’s quite fitted!). It’s made of a shiny black material (which I think is a silk-mix) and contains a fixed internal bra (suits no bigger than a C cup I feel, but this could always be removed and your own bra affixed instead).

“The dress is waisted with the Schwab clip-clasp belt underneath the bust, giving the dress a fitted bodice and bubble hem. This dress is brand-new and never worn, featuring all the details expect from a couture Schwab piece, his items rarely appear on ebay so get it fast, own a piece of fashion history from an avant-garde artist!”

Current bid price is £26 though this hasn’t met the reserve price yet. Could still end up a real bargain though, and if you’re heading down to London Fashion Week you could be wearing it to the Marios Schwab show, or at least an after-party or two.
