Daily eBay – PH 5 light

Greenmystyle writer Ella Dines features the new Daily eBay item for today. This PH 5 lamp was designed by Poul Henningsen over 50 years ago and made in Denmark by Louis Poulsen. The innovative design behind the PH 5 light is to give glare free light – the reflectors direct light both horizontally and vertically whilst the inside cone is red and blue to create a warm tone of light.

It is designed to hang low above a table whilst still giving moderate light. With a modernist look, in a shade of red – the PH 5 hangs in most homes in Denmark. It is Poul Henninsen’s most recognisable lighting designs.
