Daily eBay – Topshop black patent leather loafers
April 24, 2009 by Sarah Woodhead
I have two words to say about these Topshop black patent loafers with tassle front. One of those words is Alexa, can you guess the other word? That’s right people, it’s Chung. I suppose I could have chosen Agyness Deyn as both of these stylish ladies are quite mad for a loafer.
I had my first pair of loafers in 1988. Gosh it feels quite odd to write that. But yes, it was 1988, I’d just started sixth form, and my shiny oxblood loafers (from Next, which was de rigeur in the Eighties) looked just fly with my navy uniform. I loved those loafers and I’m not sure quite why it’s taken me so long to come back to the idea. I mean, look at them, they’re surely the best looking flattie in Britain.
Ofcourse, it helps if you have six-feet-long legs like misses Chung and Deyn, and girly slim legs, rather than chunksters like mine, otherwise it can risk looking a bit boyish.
These loafers are a size 4. Current bid price is £5.50, and bidding ends April 26 at 6.27pm.
