Daily eBay – vintage Eighties Levi’s denim shirt

I have it on very good authority that denim worn with denim will be a hot look this year. Yes, once a fashion faux pas, wearing a denim shirt with denim jeans, or a denim shirt under a denim jacket, is already dress code for Hoxton-ites.

If all that denim makes you think of Kylie in her early stonewashed phase, when she scrunch-dried her hair and dated Jason Donnovan, then banish that mental image. I have a much cooler picture of a certain ethical fashion boutique owner heading out to London Fashion Week wearing a pale denim shirt with oversized jeans from a car boot sale, rolled up to show off heeled boots, and worn with a loose-fit country tweed blazer (charity shop) with the sleeves rolled too. Very. Cool.  Unashamedly, I plan to copy her.

Today’s Daily eBay, then, is this vintage Eighties Levi’s stonewash denim western shirt, in a size 12. The look doesn’t demand stonewash, though it is one of the season’s popular finishes. It’s a popular item, with more than a handful of bidders already.
