Daily eBay – Vintage Stadium 1930s picnic hamper

Ahhh, the old-fashioned picnic, something we Brits love. I recently went to a local park with my boyfriend to spend the day relaxing in the sunshine. We took a picnic but had no hamper, so resorted to a tote and a few ice blocks, which of course just resulted in a soggy bag and luke warm sarnies; not my idea of a ‘real’ picnic. What I need is one of those snazzy hampers – eBay to the rescue!!

This splendid Vintage Stadium 1930s four-person picnic hamper with original contents is just gorgeous. It contains settings for four cups, saucers, side plates, knives, forks, teaspoons, fish knife, steak knife, three original beakers plus one not original, four lidded container pots, salt/pepper container, glass lidded bottle and two metal lidded sandwich boxes.

The sandwich boxes are marked TALA. The contents are in good used condition, one metal sandwich box has noticeable dents to the lid. The case shows some minor wear and marks in places, still closes as it should.

If that wasn’t incentive enough, at a £0.99 starting bid I have no idea why you’d resist. If anything it’s the perfect excuse to get that man in your life to take you out for the day – bonus! Just don’t forget to take a bottle-opener!
