Daily eBay – Vivienne Westwood pirate boots
It’s London Fashion Week’s 25th anniversary and what better way to pay homage to British style than by rocking some iconic vintage pirate boots from original London designer, Vivienne Westwood? Amiee Jones picks today’s Daily eBay.
Owned by London fashion darlings, Sienna Miller and Daisy Lowe, they’re the ideal way to work rebellious British street style this autumn. They look defiantly fabulous worn slouchy with second skin skinnies and give a hard-edged contrast to seriously girly dresses.
A UK size 6, these pre-loved boots are black leather with tan buckles running up the outside, a Vivienne Westwood signature after her initial foray into fashion via fetish inspired, directional pieces nearly two decades ago.
More flattering than standard round toe boots, the almond shape that these boots taper into actually lengthens the leg in the same way as a pointed toe, good news for the more vertically challenged amongst us.
Hitch them up, roll them down and imagine you’re on Kings Road, circa 1989. One’s thing for sure, these vintage boots are home grown British style at its very best. How fashionably patriotic.
The bid is currently at £102 and the auction ends on 26th September.
