Denise Van Outen bares all for eco beauty

July 10, 2009 by Clare Saxon

shot_7-010TV, theatre and radio star Denise Van Outen has bared all to support eco deodorant brand Bionsen’s bid to raise women’s awareness of the dangers of aluminium in most big name deodorants. See more of the ravishing photos here, in an artistic way of course.

Van Outen is helping launch the Japanese deodorant Bionsen, which is a product completely free from parabens and aluminium, and help women choose safer deodorants.

The brand, which is relatively unknown in the UK still, must be pretty chuffed to have such a well-known face representing it. Charlotte Smith from Bionsen says: “We are delighted to have Denise on board because she’s a natural beauty and embodies just what Bionsen stand for.”

Denise speaks of her endorsement: “When I was asked to be the face of Bionsen I didn’t have to think twice about it, as it’s a subject very close to my heart. The entire Bionsen range is free from harmful chemicals, parabena and aluminium, which have been linked to breast cancer. Having lost my grandmother to breast cancer, it’s important to me to raise awareness of the issue, and if I can use my celebrity status to do that, then that’s great.”
