Eco Age holds a teasing burlesque party for Yes! organic lube

February 12, 2010 by Jennifer Butler

yes300The world’s first organic lubrication by Yes had a little burlesque party at Eco Age to celebrate Valentine’s Day and sensual women everywhere.  Jenny Butler reports.

Yes, established by Susie Lennox and Sarah Brooks has created a water-based and oil-based lubrication that is truly organic, and today’s event celebrated this by showcasing everything that is sexy about being a woman.

With the help of burlesque dancer Tallulah Tempest, the second floor of  Chiswick’s trendy Eco Age, which was founded by Livia Firth, Nicola and Alessandro Giuggioli, was turned into a “Tease Clinic”, teaching women some sexy tips for the boudoir: from how to sensually take gloves off to how to wear nipple tassels, and spin them! There was also a display on how to use feathers and reveal yourself sensually….

Yes co- founder Susie Lennox attended the event and told us about her idea behind the organic lubrication: “Organic lubrication is a Cinderella area, it is completely rejected. Other lubrications can be sticky, highly-coloured and perfumed. We realised there was a gap in the market as most lubrications are either vulgar and suggestive or medical. We wanted to make something elegant and dignified.”

The water- based organic lubrication is completely free of parabens, glycerin, hormones, silicones and petroleum products. This means it is suitable for cancer patients as the parabens in normal lubrications can mimic hormones and compromise the immune system. It is also suitable for diabetics as there is no glycerin, which at certain quantities can feed thrush. Shockingly – and a rather unknown fact that should be shouted about louder is that the thickness of normal lubrications often inhibits sperm which makes it harder for women who are trying to get pregnant using lube.

The oil- based lube is created with the finest quality organic plant oils, butters and a touch of bees wax It is beneficial for skin, so no need to wash off, although it is not suitable without a condom.

yes1300Yes lubrication can be used for periods of dryness and doesn’t mask your body with scents. It pumps moisture into your body and can plump up your labia as a result. It is made from plant gum which creates a natural tingling affect.

There is no outer protection in the penis or vagina so everything you put in stays in, it is the same as what you eat or put on your skin. There is something familiar and easy about this product that makes it comfortable for any woman.

So it is now up to your man to get you some Valentine’s Day says Lennox: “It is a compliment for a man to buy healthy products for their partners, it’s a sign of caring, we want our products to be unique and intimate”.
