EJF hits Carnaby Street with its pop-up shop
Over the coming two weeks the Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) will be joining the ranks of Carnaby Street’s biggest names, including Diesel and American Apparel, with its White Gold pop-up shop. Chris Carroll writes.
Located on the 1st Floor of Kingly Court, EJF will be selling T-shirts designed by the likes of Jenny Packham, Alice Temperley, Richard Nicoll and Ciel, and will include designs worn by Lily Cole, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Nic Hoult and Ashley Jensen.
The pioneering charity, which works to end forced child labour and environmental abuses in cotton production, will also be selling 100 Eley Kishimoto designed organic shopper bags. These gems cam be snapped up for £10 each or come free with a spend of over £50.
The shop opened last night with Monday to Saturday opening times from 10am – 7pm, and Sunday, 12pm – 6pm.
EJF is a UK based charity working internationally to empower people who suffer most from environmental abuses. The charity provides film and advocacy training to individuals and grassroots organisations in the global south, enabling them to document, expose and create long term solutions to environmental abuses.
