Eva Longoria models celebs’ most loved ethical Tee
October 10, 2008 by greenmystyle
Is this the ethical label most loved by celebrities? First it’s sported by Sienna Miller, Courteney Cox, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, Naomi Campbell and David Beckham. And now it’s Eva Longoria Parker’s turn to don the Omnipeace T-shirt.
Has any ethical fashion brand won more celebritiy supporters than this? Answers on a postcard folks.
Omnipeace is a Los Angeles-based label set up by entrepreneur Mary Fanaro to help end extreme poverty by 2025, and to promote peace and sustainability in sub-Saharan Africa. That’s a big job for a little t-shirt.
Well, it’s not strictly just one little T-shirt. Omnipeace also offers bags, purses, caps and scarves too. 25% of all profits is donated to charities and organizations committed to the same goals. One of these charities is Millennium Promise whose goal is to end extreme poverty by 2025.
If you like the Omnipeace range, you’ll have to weigh up the impact of getting it shipped from the US versus your contribution to charity. It’s currently available to buy online at Kitson LA and the Omnipeace.
