Exclusive: Antony Waller of Ethical Award-winning People Tree shares his party pics
June 4, 2009 by greenmystyle
A very jubilant Antony Waller, of award-winning fashion brand People Tree, has overcome a very sore head this morning to share his piccies, celebrity gossip and winning vibe from last night’s Ethical Observer Ethical Awards 2009 exclusively with Greenmystyle.com. We salute you Antony!
Antony writes: Last night’s Observer Ethical Awards, the fourth outing for the annual event, were as good as ever, hosted by Lucy Siegel and Colin Firth, who got a few hearts fluttering in the audience.

It was a civilised start to the evening for me as I caught up with Jo Wood over a glass of champagne. We were sat outside at the Kensington Roof Gardens venue, chatting away and watching the flamingos in the pond.
Despite my best efforts Jo, who was one of the judges of the awards, refused to divulge if People Tree would walk off with an award.
I was delighted when Livia Firth (Colin’s wife) turned up in the dress I had rushed to her house just two hours before. She looked amazing on Colin’s arm in our striking gold raw-silk dress, pictured right.
There was just enough time to catch up with some of my favourite journalists before the awards started.
Safia Minney, People Tree’s CEO, and I sat with Jo to hear the results come in. As Colin Firth read out the nominations for the fashion award a huge cheer came from the audience when People Tree was announced. This cheer only got louder as we went on to win the award.
Every one of the winners was so deserving, especially David Attenborough who was hounoured with the Lifetime Achievement award.
With all the awards handed out it was time to begin the celebrations in the Spanish Gardens, well into the early morning! Ouch, my head hurts…
