Expert Q&A – Oliver Heath

October 13, 2008 by Sarah Woodhead

Tell us about your first eco purchase
Oliver: It was my Schooner messenger bag made out of old sails. It’s big and strong and even has a label inside which tells you what type of boat it comes from, what sail it was, and on which sea it sailed. Having a good story is a great part of many eco products.

What’s your favourite shop for vintage pieces?
Oliver: Junky Styling (pictured) where I buy many of my clothes. They take apart old clothes (like suits) and stitch them back together in quirky and unusual ways. I’m often at markets and find great vintage coats or suits that just need a little hip replacement, so Junky is the place to take them – perfect for stylish unique clothing.
