Fashion-conscience.com adds vegan lines to its shoe collection

August 19, 2009 by Maria Kaski

olsenhausEthical fashion site, Fashion-conscience.com, is introducing three new ranges of stylish vegan shoes for AW09/10. From vegan faux-suede sandals by Olsen Haus to recycled-plastic Melissa wedges, Lucie Goulet explores how our favourite eco boutique will be stocking the very best of vegan high fashion.

1. Olsen Haus

Before launching Olsen Haus, Elizabeth Olsen worked as Creative Director at Tommy Hilfiger and as a designer for Calvin Klein and Nine West. Her AW collection, as sold at Fashion-conscience, follows the simple lines of these fashion houses and features black stiletto ankle boots and strappy sandals with contrasting citrus or blue heels. This is the perfect splash of colour needed for this season’s grey hues and power suits.

Was just lamenting the lack of attractive vegan shoes the other day, when you do find them they are either super cheap (and ugly) or too expensive. This is a great collection and they even have shoes on sale! Yay!

It is so nice to see more of a selection of cute vegan footwear! I’m on a budget so price is also important for me. I have found some adorable and affordable vegan shoes at Vegan Chic http://www.veganchic.com. I’m always impressed with their selection and they donate to animal charities. Oh, and they have handbags and belts too!
