Green behind the scenes at LFW

Elena Garcia, part of the small group of designers making up the Conscious Designers Collective has brought sustainable fashion to the forefront of her showcase. This talented designer will not only be taking part in a riot catwalk show sponsored by the eco taxi brand Tomato Cars and using models from upcoming ‘healthy’ model agency Flame, but Elena has also ensured that her behind the scenes activity lives up to her green credentials.

All her promotional printing was done by Solopress, an eco printing business based in Southend and the promotional shoot of the AW09 collection was done around the corner from her studio to minimise transport emissions.
