Made by Current Cost, this latest version is an energy monitor which gives an extensive picture of your home’s energy consumption, by identifying which individual appliances in your home are munching all the energy, and costing you and the environment the most. This is especially handy for catching those ageing appliances which wane in efficiency as they detiriorate.

Now, if only we could get one of them for the biscuit tin, and catch the biggest muncher…
