We love this pick, because it’s a quintessentially nerdy eBay punt, i.e. the picture’s terrible, you can’t really see what colour it is and the seller doesn’t tell us what size it is, but somehow we just know you’ll end up bidding anyway. Because it’s eBay, and it’s current bid price is £1.04. And it’s Diane Von Furstenberg.

Genuinely, it does look like this one could come up trumps. Andrea knows a thing or two about looking glamorously sophisticated – look at her here, at Andreamann.com – and was really quite excited about this one, especially the “pretty sleeves”.

The seller does say that it’s “a gorgeous metallic-look silver charcol-coloured wrap top by top designer diane von furstenberg, I got this in boston last year 100% genuine”. Boston, I tell you.
