Made With Love launches a reworked vintage collection
October 9, 2009 by Maria Kaski
Accessories label, Made With Love, launches a reworked vintage jewellery collection and website. Kat Dibbits’ range is made from vintage pieces, semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals and other bits and bobs found in drawers and junk stalls. Eleni Sardi writes
Dibbits, Made With Love’s designer, reworks each vintage piece to give it a new life so that, in her words, ‘they can be loved again!’. Her latest pieces, inspired by ballet dancers and old-fashioned screen sirens, all display romantic elements and equally nostalgic names. Among the collection you will find reworked vintage earrings called ‘Tender is the night’, and necklaces entitled ‘Rose cascade’ and ‘La Dolce Vita’.
A major draw of the collection is the unique nature of each piece.
As Kat says, ‘With money tight at the moment I think people would rather spend their cash on something they know they won’t see anyone else wearing, rather than just the same old high street items. I’m proud of the fact that I can offer one-of-a-kind pieces at a reasonable price.’
To celebrate the launch of the website, anyone who buys an item from Made With Love in October will be entered into a draw to win a Made With Love goody bag worth £50.
You can shop and find more information about Kat’s creations on the website:
