Threads’ selection of satchels and laptop bags follow a minimalist and polished aesthetic which is ideal for the style-conscious techie.  The Danish design duo, Klaus & Søren Lynggaard Hougesen, produce their designs in Vietnam, helping to create safe and fairly paid jobs for local people.

After working in the fashion industry and seeing the conditions in many Asian factories, the duo say they decided to take all the steps involved to have a higher degree of control over the product origins.

One other product from the range includes ‘The Granny’, a shopper made by –you guessed it- grannies. “The ladies had no knowledge of how to produce bags in the past,” say the design duo, “but they have now gained the knowhow and are able to get a fixed income with good working conditions through the sale of these bags.”
