Nestled amongst the historic Brighton lanes, this vegetarian restaurant has been in business since 1981, serving gourmet cuisine made from locally sourced ingredients. Their menus change regularly, but staples such as the stuffed portobello mushroom with sweet potato, fine beans and pesto are favourites that I always end up ordering. On the booze side, there is a selection of organic and biodynamic wines, accompanied by a choice of indulgent cocktails.
