Shabby chic Christmas tree decorations
December 1, 2008 by Sarah Woodhead
It’s December, which makes it officially Christmas! To celebrate that and the launch of our 12 Days Of Christmas Style campaign with DeviDoll, today’s Daily eBay is on a Christmas theme.
Now, as well as being a gorgeously loving time of year, Christmas can also be a hugely wasteful time. Whether it’s wrapping paper, unwanted presents or energy-draining rooftop Christmas lights (Santa & Sleigh anyone?), it can be a wasteful month.
Make sure you don’t contribute more than absolutely necessary by finding more eco-friendly ways to do the festive season. Personally, I’m like a child in a sweetshop when it comes to Christmas tree decorations, but guess what, eBay has a veritable treasure chest of secondhand ones.
Choose from elegant 1930s glass birds to glam 1970s baubles, there are boxes and boxes of the treasures, sometimes in the same job lot. For today’s Daily eBay I’ve found these very pretty flower and glass dropbead decorations, a touch shabby chic, which would also look delicate year round, maybe hanging in a window, a door handle, or a wardrobe key for an extra feminine touch. Sweet, aren’t they?
Current price is 99 pence for two, and bidding ends December 3 at 5.49pm.
