Socialdesigner.com make fashion a hands on experience

Since the dawn of Katharine Hamnett’s slogan T shirts we’ve been inspired by the idea of using garments as a step towards social change, and now the launch of Socialdesigner.com means that creativity is being put into the hands of the public.

Socialdesigner.com is a new interactive fashion marketplace that not only allows you to create your own T-shirt and bag designs by entering them into competitions but also sells your stunning creations on the site with a portion of the proceeds going to a non-profit organizations.

The site currently supports nine cause categories, namely Welfare, Peace, Education, Arts & Culture, Emergency Relief, Environment, Health & Well-Being, Human Rights and Poverty, so budding designers can take their pick of their favourite cause.

Our favourite design so far is this fun graffiti inspired Tobias Wong bag .
