Great green jewellery bargains

There are some fantastic discounts on jewellery and accessories in the Adili Sale right now.
I especially love these drop chain earrings. They’re reduced from £25 to £7.50 – yep, it’s a great price. They’re from the Made Boutique collection – the same range that Alexa Cheung designed ‘that skull necklace’ for.
The earrings, designed by highly acclaimed London-based jewellery designer Pippa Small, are made from handmade recycled brass chain links.
Small has collaborated with Gucci, Nicole Farhi and Chloe before, and £7.50 seems a small price to pay, if you’ll forgive the pun!

American Apparel Sale bargain – organic cotton dress
July 31, 2008 by greenmystyle · 1 Comment
American Apparel is fast becoming a staple label in the wardrobes of trendy young urbanites who clamour for its brightly coloured leggings and pseudo-porn bikinis in an Eighties vibe that they’d avoid like plastic bags had they been there the first time around.
Being neither particularly trendy and definitely not young, what I like best about American Apparel is its green credentials. Ok, the company is far from perfect, but for starters, the manufacturing process is infamously sweatshop free with all items made in its LA factory. Workers are paid twice the minimum wage and get a range of perks, from onsite massage to subsidised lunches. Read more about this here.
The kindest items in American Apparel are possibly the organic ranges, if you want to ratchet up your green purchasing a notch or two, which is always a good idea. I scanned its website today and spotted this 100% organic brushed cotton babyrib dress, from the Sustainable Edition, which is on sale exclusively online at a Sale price of £14, down from £18.
Okay, the model in this image looks about 12-years-old, but don’t let that put you off. American Apparel’s organic range of knickers and vests is sexier than the average eco lingerie, and also well worth a look.

Luella Bartley Sale bargain
July 24, 2008 by greenmystyle · Leave a Comment
Just had to tell you about this fab Sale bargain. It’s a graphic T-shirt exclusively designed for the Environmental Justice Foundation by fashion designer Luella Bartley, and I’ve just spotted it in the Sale at ethicalsuperstore.com.
You can snap it up right now for £23.99, down from £30. See this T-shirt.
Ps, It’s probably a very good time to say greenmystyle.com isn’t affiliated to any retailer, including ethicalsuperstore.com or eBay.com, though we love them both, and makes no money from sales. All editorial promotion is entirely independent.

As if the Luella Bartley tee wasn’t enough, I’ve now found this versatile little black dress, from People Tree, in the Sale at ethicalsuperstore.com. Cripes, these people make it easy to shop!
All People Tree products are certified Fair Trade and organic, which makes it a jolly desirable range to add to any wardrobe. The dress is currently £17.50 (yes, I know, it’s a bargain), down from £35.
