Today’s Daily eBay is this beautiful pair of Alexander McQueen heeled ballet pumps from his ready-to-wear collection. The silk and leather shoes are sky blue in colour, and barely marked after only a short spell in a show and in the showroom, apparently. They’re a UK size 7, but the seller says that they come up quite small.

Right now they are a real bargain, with the current bid price at £3.20. This hasn’t yet met the reserve price, though. Bidding ends at midnight on August 13.

Today’s Daily eBay is this elegant pair of Old Hall stainless steel tealight holders with blood orange Whitefriars glass shades. They stand 29cms tall, have round bases (see the other pics on eBay), and are in great condition.

Apart from being beautiful, Old Hall, the original stainless steel tablewear brand from the ’30s through to the ’80s, is hot for collecting. Manufactured in the Black Country, Robert Welch was a consultant designer in the ’50s. Welch won three design awards for an Old Hall toast rack, a collection of dishes and a range of cutlery.

Act fast as there’s only 8 hours to go. Current bid is £26 for the pair.

Today’s Daily eBay is this fab 1970s mushroom lamp, apparently from the ‘Eames Space Age Era’, though this might be a bit of hype to get a better search listing. Whatever, I think it’s gorgeous and if it glows as well as the seller claims, it would look striking as a bedside lamp maybe?

It stands 25 inches high and the shade is 18 inches in diameter. The shade and neck are made of plastic while the base is chrome. It has a couple of very minor scuff marks which you can see on the other photos.

As I say, I love it, and as it has a standard bayonet bulb fitting, it will take energy efficient lightbulbs. Bidding ends at 9pm tonight, and the current bid price is £4.19.

Today’s Daily eBay is this black party dress designed by Karl Lagerfeld for Hennes H&M.The dress is made of black silk, with a net petticoat underneath and a black sash around the waistline. It’s a size 10-12, and has never been worn.

Hennes has somehow snapped up an impressive number of designer names over the years, with Stella MacCartney, Roberto Cavalli and jeweller Solange Azagury-Partridge also doing ranges. Lagerfeld’s dates back to 2004/05, and his first collection sold out in hours.

I’m not sure which collection this dress is from. It’s not cheap, with a starting bid at £39.99, but it’s classic shape means it could be a long player in your wardrobe, and a fantastic party dress. Bidding ends August 2, at 14.31pm.

Today’s Daily eBay discovery is this cream silk Jigsaw dress, spotted by style coach Aimee Watkins. It’s a size 12 and as the seller says, with the right accessories it could be a great wedding outfit. Knee-length, the detailing on the panels looks really pretty. Check the close-up pics on eBay.

New bids would have to be £7.01 or more, and bidding ends at 17.25 July 31 (tomorrow).

Daily eBay – Robin Day polo chair

I personally love today’s item. Really love it. It’s an emerald green polo chair designed by Robin Day in 1975 and manufactured by Hille. It’s a great Twentieth Century design piece and would look fab on its own or alongside a mix of other styles in your home.

The seller says that the chair is in excellent original condition with no damage and only minor domestic use to the seat surface. It would suit indoor and outdoor use.

You’ll have to get in quick as bidding ends at 18.29 today. The latest bid is £10.50. The seller is offering to deliver locally (Birmingham-based) though would prefer a pick-up. Postage woud be about £15, he says.

Today it’s another great eBay find from my stylist friend Aimee Watkins. It’s a Chloe dress in coffee & cream colours with a silver sparkly fleck. The tiered skirt gives it a current feel, while the elasticated back and adjustable straps will help ensure it fits properly. It’s a small size, with a slightly scary 26-inch waist. The seller has listed out the exact measurements.

Current price is £34.99 and bidding ends on July 23 at 20.55pm. PS, sorry about the carpet backdrop – not a great look!
