I remember punched suede ankle boots from the Eighties. It was a New Romantic thing, I think, and I even tried to wear a pair to school. Spandau-esque footwear with a Monkhouse’s regulation brown school uniform is not a good look, even with my skirt rolled up to an inch below my knicker-line. Better luck this time around with these fair trade beauties from Where. Read more

TopShop Mary Jane high heel party shoes
December 4, 2008 by greenmystyle · Leave a Comment
Today’s Daily eBay find are these TopShop Mary Jane black patent high heel shoes, with slight platform sole, utterly suitable for Christmas parties.
These cute heels are glamorous without being glitzy, appropriately high without being cripplingly towering, and simple enough (thank goodness for black heels) to go with varying styles of dress.
They’ve been worn before, but seem in very good condition, apart from a light mark on the back of the heels (see the photos), where the seller “got out of a taxi clumsily”. I think we all understand that one, ladies!
The seller even goes so far as to say the are “very comfortable”. And I think we all understand that one too
.
They’re a size 6. Current bid price is £8.70 and bidding ends December 5 at 4.14pm.
