Terra Plana unveils stylish Vivo Barefoot range for SS10
October 20, 2009 by Maria Kaski
It looks like we will be wearing next to nothing on our feet if Terra Plana’s SS10 Vivo Barefoot range is anything to go by. Maria Kaski writes.
Terra Plana’s ergonomic designs have finally been translated into a range of shoes and trainers designed for both a high and low impact lifestyle.
Terra Plana uses a veriety of eco-friendly materials and innovative minimal glue constructions. And although their shoes may not be to everyone’s liking, its SS10 collection is guaranteed to create a stir amongst eco runners.
While the Terra Plana range features the totally vegan Rita and Marilyn shoes, made from recycled nylon and boasting a double platform and wooden cone heels, the Vivo Barefoot range of unisex shoes offers a diverse range of casual streetwear plimsole styles and more active running shoes. The Vivo Barefoot range is also vegan, but what makes it different is the presence of an ultra thin puncture resistant sole.
The EVO running shoe is a flexible trainer composed of lightweight fabrics and a multi density footbed for ultimate transition and density options on different terrains. Apparently it is just like running barefoot, but better.
