Top ten: AW09 shoes and accessories at Estethica

Reclaimed leather, vegetable dyes and recycled bar codes are just a few of the green ingredients that make up the gorgeously glam creations that were on display by established and brand new designers alike at the Estethica showcase today. Clare Saxon picks the best of a beautiful bunch to bring you the top ten shoes and accessories you’ll be adorning yourselves with next season.

Bags, shoes and accessories; Oh my!

My closet, porch and attic are overflowing with them and every spare wall space has hooks and hangers with heaps of them displayed. So you can imagine how hyped I was at being given the opportunity to pick the top ten shoes and accessories from the Estethica AW09 collection at London Fashion Week.

Already delirious with the excitement of seeing the uber-sexy Estethica Noir show and living on chocolate and espressos for two days, I couldn’t wait to meet all the designers and capture the finest selection of arm and toe candy for your perusing pleasure.

Now I just wish next Autumn would hurry up and get here so I could start decorating myself with these truly scrumptious creations.

1. Nina Dolcetti shoes

This pair of reclaimed patent mock croc leather and cork shoes, pictured above, are probably the most beautiful heels I have seen in a long time. Avant-garde striking and stunningly elegant, they nail the balance between luxurious art and practical style, with their thick platform base, two tone block colour and opulent rounded shape.

The pair are also the designer’s favourite, owing to the chunky heel and tainted monochrome print that she says are, ’super comfortable for every day but giving you that extra height’. We also spotted the gorgeous Nina wearing the pair later on whilst sipping champagne in the LFW cafe. It’s a hard life when you’re a super stylish (and very sweet) designer!

Wear  daily with suits, satin skirts or jeans to cram extra inches of glorious excess and prim power to your AW09 look. The towering two tone shoes also come in a sexy wedge version which are perfect for partying in.
