Top ten: AW09 shoes and accessories at Estethica

3. Sonya Kashmiri clutch

This kidney bean clutch has stolen our hearts. In a subtly stylish shape and understated grey, it will slide easily into all of your outfit selections next season.

Grey is always a great base to build upon and to tone things down in a grown-up 50’s secretary way. Having it snugly fit under your arm will allow you to splash out in the hottest block bright colours in the rest of your outfit, by retaining your cool. This sums up the rest of the collection too; tidy, trendy and ever so tantalizing.

The eco friendly vegetable-tan leather is used which is an old method that designer Sonya says was used around fifty years ago. She also tells me that there is no chrome used so the bag can be recycled.

The most fascinating thing is that with age the leather darkens, and she grabs a friend fashionista’s one year old bag to show me the difference. We both agree it looks miles better with age. As it never stops changing either, you’ll be getting a bargain bag that will never ever bore you.

The bags are also lined with organic cotton print and many are made with recycled leather. They will retail at around £300.

Fantastic shoes, love them. Always need heels but just can’t wear them all day unless theyr’e wedges /platforms, these are so perfect for wearing with dresses and skirts, much more feminine than my ‘big boots’ that I live in to give me height with comfort.
