Top 10 eco lingerie: What’s beneath counts!

February 2, 2010 by Jen Marsden

dotty300With one of the most romantic days in the social calendar – the big V – on the horizon, what are our options for green and eco-friendly lingerie? Eleni Sardi writes.

Natural and organic fabrics for your underwear are not simply good for the earth; they’re also good for your body as these are the most intimate items of clothing you wear. Make sure you pick only the ones that feel like a second skin and they’re comfortable enough to get you through the night while still feeling sensual. This is Greenmystyle’s guide to the 10 that made the cut!

1. Life’s not fair… but my knickers are!

With a cheeky name like that and collections of lingerie and loungewear that are ethically made and supported by the Fairtrade Foundation, this is one of our favourite companies, especially for shorts and chemises. We particularly love the Fairly Dotty range with polka dots and antique lace trim for a look that’s girlie enough but not boarding on childish. If you go for the gray pair, you’ll definitely get the perfect balance of girliness and comfort but no one will blame you if you still love the pink one as well!
The Dotty Vest retails at £15.00 and the short at £12.00.
