Our five favourite organic pancake toppings

If you’re having a pancake party this evening then don’t forget the sweet, organic and fair toppings. Here at Greenmystyle.com we’ve selected our top five ultimate treats for you to remember at the aisles! Jen Marsden writes.
While your mouth salivates with our choices, a quick reminder to make sure your milk and eggs organic and free range, and where possible from a local farm!
1. Fairtrade and organic bananas, you just can’t beat them. Available from supermarkets!
2. Based on the original traditional South American recipe, Che Toffees’s utterly gorgeous Dulce de Leche, produced using quality organic milk in the heart of Argentina, doesn’t even need the pancakes – just a spoon! £2.85 from Real Foods Direct and good wholefood stores.
3. There’s nothing quite like some Crazy Jacks Fairtrade and Organic Golden Syrup to sweeten your pancakes up. It’s wonderfully moreish! Available for just from £1.89 from Tesco’s and Sainsbury’s and online at Ethical Superstore.
4. For a hint of spice, try melting Green & Black’s Fairtrade and organic certified Maya Gold with its rich 55% cocoa content. It’s delicious with a tastebud trip of cinnamon, zesty orange, nutmeg and hint of vanilla. Available £2.16 from all good shops and for £2.16 online at Goodness Direct.
5. How about some tasty organic chocolate spread? Plamil Foods offers a lot of choice with its chocolate orange spread for £2.24 for 275g as well as the original variety. If you want to taste some organic 60% rich dark or white chocolate catering drops for easy melting, then Plamil Foods can also provide!
What about the pancakes?
